Camped here for one night. Nice grounds with all the grass and trees. Campsites are fairly spaced apart, there are showers, a laundromat, and an ice cream parlor. Located right off Hwy 395 before Bishop, it's pricey at $35.00 but I was tired.
So beautiful place. Everything clean. I will visit again. ☺️
One star rating because the girls working behind the counter are argumentive with customers.
One star rating because the camp employees did not contact 2 separate groups who allowed their dogs to bark at people walking by. I was woke up by barking dogs in the morning and disrupted by barking dogs in the evening and after dark.
I will never go back to this unfriendly and noisy park.
All grass tent sites with trees everywhere. RV sites are sand/gravel with grass around. Two sides of the campground are bordered by a golf course 😀 but the other 2 sides are highway 395 and a moderately busy road. Whether we are tent camping or RVing this is our go-to place to stay in Bishop. Plenty of great places to eat (Holy Smoke BBQ is a favorite) and lots of nearby fishing spots.
